The first roller coaster on the Sunshine Coast in Australia is now open at Aussie World.

The new Dingo Racer spinning coaster takes parkgoers on a journey through a Mad Max themed area, and is set to appeal to those visiting for the school holidays as well as locals looking for a new experience close to home.

The ride was manufactured by French company Reverchon and was officially opened by Minister for Tourism, Innovation and Sport, the Honourable Stirling Hinchcliffe.

Sea World on the Gold Coast in Australia has confirmed that Leviathan, the new wooden roller coaster, will be opening on 3 September 2022.

It is part of The New Atlantis, a $50 million expansion that will be opening in phases.

The new development will include three new thrill rides; a Top Spin called Vortex, a Sky Flyer named Trident and an impressive wooden roller coaster titled Leviathan.

New launch roller coaster the Big Dipper will open at Luna Park Sydney on December 26.

It will be Australia's tallest and fastest multi-launch coaster and the world’s first inline seating launched roller coaster, with a top speed in excess of 70 kilometres per hour.

The Big Dipper has been manufactured by Intamin, one of the world’s best manufacturers of roller coasters.

Dreamworld’s new roller coaster Steel Taipan is a 1.2km ride that reaches a top speed of 105km/h, delivers a G-force of 3.8 and features 4 inversions.

It is the first triple launch roller coaster in the Southern Hemisphere, based on the award-winning Blue Fire at Europa-Park, with some new additions.

The new roller coaster was manufactured by MACK Rides. It features a stall and twisted half pipe at one end of the launch section, and the world’s first spinning seats at the rear of the train.
